School Education (Primary and Secondary)

School education is quite similar throughout Australia with only minor variations between the territories and states. Considering working in Australia after you complete your studies? The Australian government offers Post Study Work Stream (PSW) to work in Australia to the eligible graduates who have obtained higher education degree. As a foreign student, you’ll have to apply for a Post-Study Work Visa (PSW) that lets successful applicants like you to stay and work in Australia for a visa period of two, three or four years’ duration. This depends on the highest educational qualification that you have obtained.

Eligibility Criteria for Post Study Work Visa

Firstly, to be qualified for PSW, you should be conferred an eligible degree level qualification from any Australian University not more than 6 months back. An eligible degree level qualification is:

  • Bachelor degree
  • Bachelor (Honours) degree
  • Masters by coursework degree
  • Masters (extended) degree
  • Masters by research degree
  • Doctoral degree

Secondly, you must have completed at least 2 years of academic study in Australia either at the Bachelors level or above.
